Dina Brode-Roger is a Cultural Studies scholar living and working in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. Her interests are in heritage, materiality, what makes a community, and identity of place. She uses a mix of ethnographic and visual methodologies in her work. Dina is the recipient of the 2022 Rachel Tanur Memorial Prize for Visual Sociology.
